Mrs Hillary Clinton Comes Out Heavily against
Contractor Economy Prevailing in USA Presently
In her first major speech detailing her
economic agenda at New York City’s New School, Mrs. Hillary Clinton, the
Democratic 2016 presidential candidate promised to wage a war against employers
who are mis-classifying their employees as contractors mainly to deny
perquisites and allowances payable to regular employee. Mrs. Hillary Clinton follows a chain of legal
initiatives that has been unleashed against companies like Uber recently. Some
companies like Uber in USA who facilitate the employees to make some quick
bucks by driving their own car or by renting a spare room and call them as contractors despite they are
playing an employee role mainly to
refute the claim of allowances and perquisites payable to regular employee.
In her 2016 presidential electoral speech, Mrs.
Hillary Clinton has urged the necessity to increase wages of the working
classes in America (a minimum wage of $15).
Mrs Hillary Clinton observed that though this
on-demand or so-named gig economy is not only establishing exciting opportunities
and unleashing innovation, it also raising hard issues about safeguard at the works
place and what a good job will look like in the near future.
