 DETROIT MUNICIPALITY FILES BANKRUPTCY . IS IT A RIGHT SIGN FOR THE AMERICAN ECONOMY ?

Detroit  filed the largest municipal bankruptcy in US history on Thursday, setting the stage for a costly court battle with creditors and opening a new chapter in the long struggle to revive the city that was the cradle of the American auto industry.

The bankruptcy, if approved by a federal judge, would force Detroit's thousands of creditors into negotiations with the city's Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr to resolve an estimated $18.5 billion in debt that has crippled Michigan's largest city.

Snyder named Orr in March to tackle the city's spiraling long-term debt, which is estimated at $18.5 billion.

A White House spokeswoman said Democratic US President Barack Obama and his senior team were monitoring the situation in Detroit closely. But unlike after the economic collapse of 2008, in which the federal government injected billions in cash into US auto makers General  Motors Co and Chrysler    as the first step of a quick turn through a managed bankruptcy process, Obama made no promises this time.

There is an urgent need to prevent the auto manufacturers to move their facility to China and India on the pretext of costing!

The American government should come forward to offer lot of subsidies , tax cuts , loans for revival of the auto industries in Detroit . Else , the Detroit catastrophe can happen to  other American cities also.

This shows government inaction in case of a Crisis . Will the American government  wake up now and act ?

During a primary debate in South Carolina, when Mrs Clinton was asked what would her response when there was an attack like 9/11 attack on USA , the other contestants replied working with allies through United Nations , by establishing coalitions , Hillary immediately responded as follows:

In such event , we will have adequate intelligence who is behind the attack or the nations which helped them and I will make immediate strategy to initiate immediate offensive against those culprits who have carried out such inhuman attacks. I never forgive or tolerate any violent actions against US.

Like Margaret Thatcher of UK , Indira Gandhi of India , and Golda Meyer of Israel , we need another strong minded lady to safeguard USA from its enemies.

Born on October 26, 1947 , Hillary Clinton is a eminent lawyer , housewife , senator , secretary of state of USA and a philanthropists.  As early as 1964, she entered into American politics when she actively campaigned for the then Republican Presidential nominee Barry Goldwater in 1964 election.

As a Lawyer , she was attracted by Martin Luther King's fierce speeches and finally embraced the Democrat in 1968.

Mrs Clinton graduate from Yale Law School with honors in 1973 .

In 1971, she had the opportunity to work on Walter Mondale,  a U.S Senator, sub-committee on migration workers. For the Democratic presidential nominee George McGovern , in 1972, she campaigned in the western states.

Hillary in 1974 became the presidential impeachment inquiry staff thereby advising the House of Representatives committee during the Watergate Scandal.  In 1975, she joined as a faculty member of law school of University of Arkansas.

On October 11, 1975 , there was marriage between Hillary and Clinton. In 1976, Hillary campaigned for Jimmy Carter .Their daughter Chelsea was born on 27 February ,1980.
